Description

These flavorful Garlic Butter Steak Bites are the perfect solution for busy weeknights, offering a high-protein meal in just 15 minutes. By using bite-sized cubes of tender New York strip steak, you achieve a restaurant-quality sear and a juicy center every time. Finished with aromatic garlic and rich butter, this dish delivers an intense, savory profile that pairs perfectly with your favorite side dishes.

Ingredients

1 lb New York Strip Steak, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Oil (olive or avocado)
1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
5 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce (alcohol-free)
2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

Pat the cubed steak completely dry with paper towels to ensure a superior crust.
Combine the smoked paprika, black pepper, and kosher salt in a small dish.
Toss the steak cubes in the spice mixture until evenly coated on all sides.
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to smoke slightly.
Add the oil, then arrange the steak cubes in a single layer without overcrowding the pan.
Sear the steak for two minutes per side until a deep, dark golden-brown crust forms.
Reduce heat to medium, add the butter and garlic, and stir for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and finish by sprinkling with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure the steak is bone-dry before seasoning to get the best sear. Do not overcrowd the pan, as this causes the meat to steam rather than sear. If using a standard frying pan instead of a cast iron, ensure it is set to high heat to maintain temperature.
