Description

A patriotic fruit platter featuring strawberries, blueberries, and white chocolate or yogurt-covered pretzels arranged as a U.S. flag. Combines sweet and salty elements with a vibrant, colorful design perfect for summer celebrations. No pork, alcohol, or cooking required.

Ingredients

Strawberries 2 lbs
Blueberries 2 cups
White Chocolate Covered Pretzels OR Yogurt-Covered Pretzels (store-bought or homemade) 12 oz
Lemon Juice (Optional) 1 tsp

Instructions

Rinse all fresh fruit under cold running water
Pat strawberries and blueberries dry with paper towels
Remove hulls from strawberries using a paring knife
Slice strawberries into 1/4-inch thick pieces
Prepare pretzels by using store-bought white/yogurt-coated or making your own (mix melted white chocolate/yogurt with optional sugar, dip pretzels then cool)
Create a white base on the platter using 1/2 cup sugar-free yogurt or whipped coconut cream
Arrange pretzel stars in sections to form a 7×6 grid pattern
Fill gaps between the stars with strawberry slices to form the red stripes
Garnish the white background with blueberries at the 50-star positions

Notes

Watermelon cubes can be substituted for strawberries in the red stripes
Arrange pretzels first for easier fruit placement
Keep platter chilled until serving to preserve freshness
Use edible markers to reinforce the flag pattern on large plates for better visibility
