Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken tenders
3 tablespoons avocado oil
2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
0.5 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, tamari, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper until well combined.
Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss thoroughly to ensure each piece is coated in the marinade.
Allow the chicken to rest for 10-15 minutes to let the flavors penetrate the meat.
Arrange the tenders in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Notes
Ensure chicken pieces are roughly the same size for even cooking. For extra crispiness, you can broil the tenders for the last 1-2 minutes of the baking time. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
