Description

A nutrient-dense, low-carb fruit salad combining antioxidant-rich berries and mango with a citrus-honey glaze. Light, refreshing, and satisfying for a post-workout snack or summer side dish. Balances natural sweetness and acidity with high fiber for slow energy release.

Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries 1 pound
Fresh Blueberries 1 pint
Mango 1 large
Lime 1 fruit
Honey 2 Tablespoons
Fresh Mint Optional garnish

Instructions

Rinse all berries thoroughly under cold water.
Pat the fruit dry with a clean paper towel.
Remove green stems from strawberries and slice into bite-sized pieces.
Cube peeled mango for texture.
Zest and juice one lime to create 1/4 cup liquid.
Whisk lime zest/juice with honey until well combined.
Toss sliced strawberries, blueberries, and mango in the dressing on a large plate.
Garnish with fresh mint (if using) and serve immediately.

Notes

Use firm fruits to prevent mushiness.
Replace lime with lemon for a sharper flavor.
Swirl in Greek yogurt (not in ingredients) for extra protein, if desired.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
