Description

A quick, high-protein, low-carb meal combining seared shrimp and caramelized broccoli with a rich garlic-butter sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or keto diets.

Ingredients

Raw Shrimp (8 oz)
Broccoli Florets (1 cup)
Minced Garlic (1 tbsp)
Olive Oil (2 tbsp)
Unsalted Butter (3 tbsp)
Paprika (1 tsp)
Red Chili Flakes (1 tsp)
Oregano (1 tsp)
Lemon Juice (1 tbsp)
Avocado Oil (0.5 tbsp, for cooking)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or set a large skillet on high heat.
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with paprika and oregano.
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in the skillet until shimmering; sear shrimp 1-2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
Add broccoli, remaining 2 tbsp butter, garlic, chili flakes, and 0.5 tbsp avocado oil to the skillet. Cook 2-3 minutes until broccoli starts to brown.
Return shrimp to the skillet, toss with broccoli, and cook 1-2 minutes to combine flavors.
Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use large shrimp (21/25 count) for best texture.
Ghee is a paleo-friendly butter substitute.
Add a pinch of sea salt if desired (not specified in the article).
Serve with cooked zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice for a complete meal.
