Ingredients

Ground Beef (80% Lean)
1 lb
Mini Croissants
4 Units
Cheese Slices
4 Slices
Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup
Garlic Cloves
3-4 Cloves
Shredded Parmesan
1 tbsp
Mayonnaise
1/4 Cup
Yellow Mustard
2 tbsp
Sweet Relish
2 tbsp


Instructions

Preheat nonstick skillet or griddle to 450°F (230°C)
Using a burger press, flatten croissants into rounds 3-4 inches in diameter
Place flattened croissants in hot skillet
Pat ground beef into 4 evenly sized round patties
Cook patties on hot skillet 1-2 minutes per side until browned and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C)
Place cheese slices on cooked patties, let melt 20-30 seconds
Remove burgers from skillet; melt garlic butter in same skillet, add Parmesan to create a golden crust
Assemble burgers by placing croissant on bottom, followed by patty, cheese, and croissant top
Spread garlic butter mixture over croissants
Whisk mayonnaise, mustard, and relish for serving sauce

Notes

Use a burger press for even flattening of croissants and patties
For dietary alternatives: substitute ground turkey for beef and use vegetarian Parmesan
